The ceremonial opening of the Pump Room took place on August 27, 2021. On this occasion, a mosaic of glass and stone made by Lubosz Karwat – the Image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help from the Redemptorist Church was consecrated on the facade of the building. The mosaic commemorates the 120th anniversary of Zakład Górniczy Mateczny. The opening of Krakowska Pijania Zdrojowa at the Matecznego roundabout for Krakow residents and patients will be linked to the next edition of Podgórze Open Days (September 24-26, 2021).
The former name of the water gushing here, "Krakowianka", has been reserved. From the end of September, you will be able to drink water again, but with different names: "Mateczny Zdrój" or "Anton".
