“Inclusive tourism” – this is the slogan that accompanies the World Tourism Day in 2021, established in 1979 by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). “The human desire to travel and discover is universal, therefore tourism must be open to everyone. The social and economic benefits of tourism must be accessible to all. ” – Zurab Pololikashvili (Secretary General of the UNWTO).
Official World Tourism Day celebrations will take place on September 27 in Côte d’Ivoire. In Krakow, we will give certificates to new Guides who have successfully passed their exams after a one-year course and hard learning. Traditionally, on the occasion of World Tourism Day, the New Guides invite Cracovians for free tours. This year it will be a walk around the Main Square. The guides will introduce us to the secrets and prospects of using the 5 palaces located here, especially those newly renovated. “Market Palaces – Super Five!” will be held on October 2. Meeting at the Potocki Palace (Rynek Gł. 20), at 10.00 a.m.
