Until April 16, 2023, thirty works of the Antwerp painter who settled in Krakow can be seen at Wawel – outstanding works, little known, from collections that are difficult to access, most of them never shown in museums. Among them are paintings, drawings, ivory carvings made around 1600, panels from altarpieces from churches; among others painting “Annunciation” from the Prelate of St. Mary’s Church. Thanks to the collected works, we will look at Krakow as a thriving artistic center of the Baroque era.
