On February 21, 1990 the ITGD was celebrated for the first time in the world, and in Poland in Krakow in 1997. Since then, it has been celebrated annually. The idea behind the ITGD is free guided tours.
This day is to show the guide’s work to local communities and local authorities. Its aim is to raise awareness of the role of guides in serving tourists, in creating the image of the city and the region.
On the occasion of the International Guide Day, the guides from the Federation of Tourist Guide Associations invite you to the following free tours on March 12:
