Before the walls came up. Jews in Podgórze

The exhibition refers to the time before the construction of the walls of the Kraków ghetto in Podgórze, which separated Jews from the outside world during World War II. The exhibition presents the specificity of the Jewish community of Podgórze, shows its multidimensionality, shows how the dynamically developing city influenced its Jewish inhabitants and vice versa – how the Jewish community worked not only for itself, but also for the entire population of Podgórze and then Krakow. The exhibition is open from March 10 to December 10, 2023.
